Shining bright in his mistress's eye
It's hard to believe the years have gone by

Proving an acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

The road to Sire of Merit was often hard to go;
But his mistress was determined to make it so!

A boxer of substance, beauty and grace
Who could resist that wonderful face?

A change of the lead and back in the ring,
A CD title he would also bring.

His time has come, the hour is near
Let all of us here stand up and cheer!

Although his son's will continue the line,
Josh's star alone will forever shine.
